Vocabulary, grammar and writing, reading:

We provide brief and simple descriptions of Disney characters, which is accompanied by an image of them. The students will have to answer simple open questions about the characters. (E.G. What color is X’s favorite X [clothing item]?). Finding the answers in the text or image. The text will utilize the

We will review the answers as a group after a determined amount of time. We will go one by one and ask the students to participate. When can then assess their speaking, pronunciation, utilization of appropriate grammar and vocabulary.  While they are answering the questions we can see their facial expressions and body language to determine if they are having a hard time or not. The students will have to participate and cooperate with each other while always showing respect for one another. Laughing or refusal of cooperation is not an option.

Listening, speaking and pronunciation:

We will have the students pick a character from the image used in the previous activity. In pairs the students will describe their character to each other and the other will have to guess who they are speaking of. The teacher will assign the pairs  based on their seating arrangements. This will work as communicative practice, as well as practice for the 3 skills; listening, speaking and pronunciation. The teacher will give them an example for them to have an idea on how to do the activity. After they do with one character, they can continue with any character from any place they can think of until the remainder of the time allotted for the activit.

Students must be respectful towards each other in case someone is wrong or saying things in a funny way. They’ll be punished to cooperate in a respectful way, they don't have the right to refuse.

Assessment of non-linguistic aspects: 10% (5% + 5%)

Cooperation: 5% (starts 5%)

This value will start as a granted percentage that will only be lowered in case the student shows a consistent refusal to cooperate in class.

Participation: 5% (starts 2.5%)

It will start at 2.5% which can ascend or descend based on the students willingness to participate. if they refuse to participate, the score will lower .5% and when they voluntarily participate, it will raise 1% and when they are chosen and participate, it will raise .5%.
