It represents a mixture of both direct and indirect testing, mostly leaning towards the direct kind.

This test is composed of multiple choice and short answer questions that qualify as discrete points.

  1. Is the test norm-referenced or criterion referenced?

It appears to be a criterion based test, since the students will have to comply with the criterion that has been set for each section.

  1. Does the test measure communicative abilities? Would you describe it as a communicative test? Justify your answers.

No, focuses mainly on vocabulary skills without practice for either spoken or written creativity, while there is an argument for reading comprehension to be considered as a communicative skill, this test does not place much emphasis on it.

  1. What relationship is there between the answers to question 6 and answers to the other questions?
The answer to question #6 is a conclusion that slowly builds up based on the answers to the previous ones. And each of those answers helped us complete the profile of this test to determine that it cannot be considered a communicative test.
